Cyber Sentinels is a cybersecurity club from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Thaqif, alumni from batch 2024 is one of the active members in this club. Recently they held a CTF workshop to the students who interested to explore hands-on activities. The workshop was also attended by Nadiah from the same MCC batch as a guest speaker.

The first time ever, a collaboration between CyberX UTM and Cyber Sentinels UTHM carried out a CTF competition on the 19-20 December 2024.

MCC2024 alumni, Thaqif from UTHM and Megat from UTM were among the key individuals making this event a success!

Adlina, one of the uprising talent from MCC2024 organised the first cyber tech meetup, "URCyberTech" at UNIRAZAK, under the club, BRSBITESS.

Their first meetup, they discussed together on how to solve Sherlock, a challenge from Hack the Box platform.

We hope to see more URCyberTech in 2025!

Syamil the founder of UIA ICE together with their team members recently shared the concept of Secure SDLC to all developers and developers to be.

It is was a good session as cybersecurity mindset should be developed when building something. Syamil used stickmen building a castle as an analogy to make sure all devs, seasoned and beginners especially can understand what SSDLC is and how to implement it in the software development.

Syamil took the opportunity to share his experience attending MCC2024 and walked-through the assignment challenges we provided to the participants during the event!
