Alysha passed ECSS exam
Alysha was accepted to join the K-Youth Development Programme in 2024. Last week, she shared to us that she passed her EC-Council Certified Security Specialist exam! Congrats!
This certification is a part of the K-Youth program.
Firdaus started CTF sharing in UNISEL
After a series of slaying CTF competitions, Firdaus recently finished his study returned to UNISEL to share his experience and knowledge in CTF.
He and the club members organised the first internal CTF competition, objectively to attract more CTF enthusiasts from UNISEL who might follow in his footsteps!
Wan Yin, Harraz and Shree teamed-up in WGMY'24
Wan Yin, Harraz and Shree decided to team up for the first time to play CTF together. They played Wargames.MY CTF and got 10th place in the student category!
Capang's first attempt analysing malware
Irfan a.k.a Capang recently grabbed an opportunity (sponsored by anonymous) to attend Fareed's malware analysis workshop.
He recently developed interest in exploring digital forensic and malware analysis. Through this workshop, he wrote a malware analysis report on Stately Taurus Asean Notes.iso campaign targetting entities in Myanmar as part of his learning.
The first Hack the Box uni Meetup!
ICE, a club initiated by Syamil and his friends from UIA stepped up to run an official Hack the Box University meetup! This monthly catchup aims to share basic IT and cybersecurity by experimenting through HTB platform. As an official collaboration with HTB, ICE has an extra access within the platform which allowing them to provide more insights to the attendees.
Syamil mentioned that this monthly catchup will not be only for UIA, ICE will bring it to other local universities that would like to collaborate with them.
They ran the first meetup this month. Awesome effort ICE! And REHACK was among of their early supporter in this initiative.
